Philosophy

At the heart of our work lies the belief that everybody is worthy of love and care. We draw from a range of philosophies and practices that all center the sacredness of being. Honoring the light in ourselves, each other, and in all that surrounds us.

We are committed to creating a healing space that is not separate from the world, but deeply engaged with it. The wellness and spiritual world has often been a place of escapism, silence, exclusion… and we believe it must do better. That’s why we center political awareness, accountability, and inclusivity in everything we do.

We recognise the ways in which neocolonialism continues to shape spiritual and wellness spaces, through appropriation, erasure, and the commodification of traditions. We work consciously to resist these patterns, and instead want to approach our work with humility, care, and awareness.

We especially want to warmly welcome queer people, BIPOC, and disabled folks*

(*If you’re disabled and considering a session with us, please let us know what your access needs are so we can make sure it’s safe and supportive for you. We’ll always be honest about what is and isn’t possible within our practice, and do our best to meet you where you are at.)

Accessibility & Pricing

We work with a “pay what you can” sliding scale to keep our sessions accessible to as many people as possible. We trust you to choose the price point that reflects your financial reality. If you cannot afford the lowest tier, you’re welcome to apply via this form to join the donation-based waiting list. Made possible by others in the community who donate sessions forward.

If you’re financially resourced and want to support someone else’s access to healing, you’re invited to donate a session here. Your contribution helps make this work more equitable and available to all which is a beautiful way of contributing to the community!

Boundaries & Safety

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Because we reserve the time and prepare the space specifically for you, appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% fee.

We want to welcome all bodies, all genders, and all lived experiences, as they are. However, we have clear boundaries: any sexual intention or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Come as you are, but always with respect.

Looking Ahead

In the future, we dream of becoming a more community-driven space. We are still in our beginning stage of this project but we’re open to ideas, conversations, collaborations… If you feel aligned and want to connect, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we would love to hear it all You can email us at info@moonhands.be and we’ll get back to you.
